Lynne Novak has dedicated the last decade to teaching 100 Voices for Edmonton Catholic Schools in one of the most unique learning environments imaginable – the Edmonton Valley Zoo. Lynne has spent the last 10 years, combining her passion for teaching and conservation to create a dynamic educational experience for the next generation.
She works in cooperation with the zoo staff to inspire children to become little stewards of the Earth, fostering a deep love and respect for nature. The children not only learn about conservation, but actually participate in it. From working collaboratively with zookeepers and interpreters to create enrichment activities for animals, to engaging with fascinating zoo artifacts, her students are immersed in hands-on meaningful learning experiences that leave a lasting impact. Come and learn about the zoo adventures that have been happening in this distinctive program.
