About me
Carol Vaage (MEd in Early Childhood) taught for over 25 years in Alberta schools in preschool and primary programs, including the U of A Child Study Center. In 1998, Carol received Alberta’s Excellence in Teaching Award, and in 2010 the Early Childhood Education Council ECEC Award. She believes in lifelong learning and inquiry and process learning. She retired in 2012 and began studying watercolor art and is now presenting sessions on watercolors for the SouthWest Seniors Association. Even seniors love experiential learning! As a previous ECEC Executive member and lifelong member of ECEC, she is looking forward to connecting with her friends who are still actively teaching.
